As the date for Blog For Darwin approaches,
I wish to draw attention to the Blog For Darwin partner, Charles Darwin's Beagle Diary, which publishes Darwin's diary entry for the corresponding date 170 years later. As I was listening to the actor reading a passage of Darwin's Beagle diary the special In Our Time Darwin programs, it struck me what a treasure we have in the Charles Darwin's Beagle Diary blog. Hopefully, educators and others will use that blog as a great tool to explore Darwin's thoughts, specimen-collecting, and note-taking. His maniacal collecting of facts and observations was a critical part of the process that would eventually lead him to an insight, to a great Theory.
